My teaching is learner-centered and recognises the different ways of knowing and the South African decolonizing context in which we function in. My worldview and approaches are grounded in ubuntu, equity, diversity, inclusivity and access which informs my pedagogy and methodology.
Curriculum development
In 2022 I curriculated an undergraduate servicing course (LIS1000S Introduction to Social Informatics), a first for the department, which was approved for first offering in the second semester of 2023. The curriculation was under the leadership and guidance of the Head of Department, Professor Jaya Raju.
